Wherever It's Blocked,
We've Got the Right Fix
Not every blocked drain needs the same approach. Where the clog sits and what's causing it determines the tools and method — here's what we work on most.
Signs a Blockage Is
Already Forming
Catch it early and you're looking at a quick clear — leave it and you're looking at an overflow. Keep an eye out for:
Drainage that's slower than usual. A sink, shower or bath taking its time to empty is telling you a partial blockage is already there, and it'll only get worse from here.
Gurgling from the pipes. If a drain or toilet gurgles while water's running elsewhere in the house, that's trapped air behind a partial blockage.
A smell that won't go away. A lingering sewage or rotten odour, even from a drain you're not using, points to organic build-up or a partial blockage nearby.
Water coming up where it shouldn't. If flushing the toilet makes water rise in the shower or sink, that's a shared line with a serious blockage.
A soggy patch in the yard. Ground that's wet above a drain line with no rain to explain it usually means that pipe is blocked or leaking underground.
